PROGRAM

1st Day – Origin | Almourol | Mora | Montemor-o-Novo | Évora

Concentration of participants in time and place to be determined. Trip to Almourol for a panoramic view of the Castle, one of the most representative elements of the Order of the Templars in Portugal. Continue to Mora for lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Montemor-o-Novo. Visit the Castle, Paço Real and Convent of Our Lady of the Greeting. Finally, travel to Évora. Formalities of check-in and hotel accommodation. Dinner.

2nd Day – Évora | Arraiolos | Borba | Monsaraz | Évora

Breakfast at hotel. Departure towards Arraiolos. Visit to the Interpretive Center of the Carpet of Arraiolos. Continuation to Borba. Visit to the Borba Cooperative, with wine tasting. At the end of the visit, lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Monsaraz, the “Balcony of the great Alqueva lake”. Walk through the Terre de Monsaraz, Pelourinho, Church of Our Lady of the Lagoon, House of the Inquisition until arriving at the Castle. Return to the hotel in Evora late afternoon. Dinner.

3rd Day – Évora | Évora Monte | Vila Velha de Rodão | Origin

Breakfast at hotel. Visit on foot through the historic city center. Highlights include the famous Roman Temple of Diana, Termas do Paço do Concelho, Praça do Giraldo, Old Fence (Évora’s Walls), D. Isabel’s Roman Arch, Burgos House and Évora Cathedral. Lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Évora Monte for a short stroll in the Castle. Continue to Vila Velha de Rodão to visit the famous Portas de Rodão. Return journey. Arrival at the places of origin. End of our services.
